This was without a doubt one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Georgia. The food was incredible. We had garlic chicken and bread with mince absolutely delightful. The atmosphere is interesting because it doesn’t feel like your traditional restaurant. It more feels like a museum or a gallery which made the experience even more incredible After you finish your food be sure to go to the toilets for an even more interactive exhibition I hope to come back soon.

If I could give this place 10 stars out of 5, I would! Honestly, this is one of the best meals my fiancée and I have had in the past few years, and we eat out quite a lot. Your journey starts when you descend beautiful old steps next to the theatre building, only to end up in a beautiful underground space, decorated with historical Georgian implements for cooking and life in general from the past. It is exactly as the restaurant mission statement suggests, simple Georgian food, done perfectly. We had a tomato salad which I will be dreaming about for the next year, a shkmeruli which seemed to defy laws of taste and texture, a catfish cooked in kindzmari bursting with flavour, and an eggplant and walnut dish that was truly unique! The waitress was very pleasant and gave us an excellent local wine recommendation to go with our meal. Also important to note that the prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the quality of the meal!

An underground restaurant with a not so obvious entrance. It feels like a museum or an art gallery when you first enter. Staff was really helpful and attentive, explained every item on the menu with patience and enthusiasm. Portions are big and extremely delicious. IPA was one of the best I've had in a while. Definitely worth a visit, loved it.
