Absolute worst customer experience I have experienced in the week I have been in Paris. I entered the store at 5:45 after leaving Louvre well before closing time of bookstore. I pick up a T-shirt that is for sale (definitely not a display item, there were a lot of them packaged for sale) wanting to buy it as a keepsake and before I can even take a step it is ripped out of my hand by an employee without a word and put back on the shelf. No explanation, no nothing, just ignored after. I refuse to patronize a store that treats customers like this. I feel so sad for anyone that experiences this rudeness as their first impression of France and hope reviews like this change it.
