The restaurant’s opening time was listed as 6:30 PM. We arrived at 6:36 PM and were met with a waiting line stretching at least 800 meters (we ended up waiting a full 2 hours). We visited on a Sunday evening. The meat was cold and, as we mentioned, not well-done (we ordered it well-done, but as you can see in the photo, it came out completely pink inside). The salad dressing had an unpleasant sharpness, and the greens weren’t properly cleaned. Even though I usually handle spicy flavors quite well, the dressing was so harsh it burned my nose from the inside out. Service was quick and friendly, but the two-hour wait was definitely not worth it. The interior is small yet aesthetic, giving off a classic French restaurant vibe. In the second serving of fries, there was no salt at all, and the sauce had an overpowering truffle flavor. While it started off as a niche, interesting touch, it became unpleasant after a few bites. The baguette and wine were genuinely good. For dessert, we ordered the profiterole; the choux pastry was filled with ice cream instead of pastry cream, which wasn’t a huge issue, but the chocolate sauce was quite bitter and seemed to contain some kind of alcohol. Overall, the experience was average at best. Our rating is 4.5/10. You can see the bill in the attached photo — we honestly don’t think this place deserves its “great value for money” reputation. Anyone planning to go should probably think twice.

It is as good as they say. Simple, quick and extremely satisfying. We had the filet with fries, all cooked to perfection. Paired with house wine and finished off with a parisian dessert. It was a wonderful experience. Keep in mind you will have to wait in the queue, but it moves rather quickly and the food and place are totally worth the wait.
